Tobramycin/Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension 2.5 mL is a combination medication used to treat bacterial infections of the eye. Tobramycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic, effectively combats bacterial infections by inhibiting protein synthesis, leading to bacterial cell death. Dexamethasone, a corticosteroid, reduces inflammation, redness, and swelling associated with eye infections.

This suspension is typically prescribed for bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other external ocular infections where inflammation and infection coexist.
