The Luer Lock Syringe is one of Exelint’s safety and conventional disposable hypodermic products.

Features: The syringe barrel of the Luer Lock Syringe is made of polypropylene which is water, chemical, and detergent resistant. The syringe contains siliconized gaskets to create a uniform and seamless plunger motion. Further, when liquid is drawn into the syringe, the positive plunger stops spillage.

The Luer lock is a type of connector that creates a tight seal with no risk of leakage and is easy to use. The Luer Lock Syringe is nonpyrogenic, nontoxic and EtO sterilized.

Uses: The Luer lock is a low-cost component commonly used in hospitals. Luer lock syringes offer a very secure connection, as the needle is required to be screwed on and locked into place. Needles, tubing, and other equipment are connected to the lock for using various applications involved in patient care. It is used for dispensing small quantities of fluid at a time.

Benefits: To protect both the medical staff as well as the patient from any accidental contamination, the syringe has a cap that provides infection control. The syringe may be capped when not in use. The barrel of the syringe is transparent so that graduation markings are clearly readable to determine the exact volume of fluid.
