Description
Benzoin Tincture Swabsticks are a convenient and effective medical product designed for skin preparation and wound care. Each swabstick is pre-soaked with benzoin tincture, a resinous compound known for its adhesive and antiseptic properties.
The benzoin tincture serves as a skin protectant and adhesive enhancer, aiding in the secure attachment of bandages or tapes. It creates a protective barrier that helps improve the adhesion of medical dressings, especially in areas prone to movement or moisture.
The swabstick format provides ease of application, allowing healthcare professionals to apply the benzoin tincture precisely to the desired area. This is particularly useful in situations where a controlled and targeted application is necessary, such as before wound closure or the placement of medical dressings.
Aplicares Saturated Swabsticks are packaged in easy open, single-use foil-laminated pouches. Each packet contains a fully saturated 4 swabstick. All packets have been terminally sterilized, thus ensuring the safest possible product for the patient. These swabsticks are conveniently packaged 10 boxes of 50 single swabsticks per case. Sterile Compound Benzoin Tincture USP is a topical skin adhesive that prepares the skin for maximum adhesion of dressings or bandages.
