Containing 1 mL of Stuart transport medium in liquid form, this swab is suitable for use in aerobic culture and rapid Group A Streptococcus (Strep A) antigen testing. The medium maintains sample viability without promoting bacterial growth, making it ideal for accurate laboratory diagnostics.

Stuart’s liquid medium is held within a fluid-filled sponge that directly contacts the swab.
