The PROLENE™ Monofilament Suture, Blue, Size 3-0, 30", with Double-Armed SH-1 Taper Point Needles, is a sterile, synthetic, nonabsorbable suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene. Designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, it maintains tensile strength indefinitely, making it suitable for long-term applications.

The SH-1 Taper Point Needles are precision-engineered for atraumatic penetration through delicate soft tissues. The needle’s rounded body and sharp tip allow it to dilate rather than cut tissue, making it ideal for cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological procedures. The double-armed configuration enhances surgical efficiency by allowing bidirectional suturing without the need to reposition the suture.
