The PDS™ II Clear Monofilament Suture, Size 4/0, 27", FS-1 Needle, is a sterile, absorbable surgical suture composed of polydioxanone, a synthetic polyester polymer. It is designed as a monofilament structure, which offers smooth passage through tissue and minimal tissue drag. The clear coloration supports low-visibility closure in subcuticular and cosmetic applications, reducing post-operative suture marks.

The FS-1 reverse cutting needle features a triangular cross-section designed to cut through dense, fibrous tissue like skin. Its sharp cutting edges along the outer curve enhance penetration efficiency while minimizing tissue trauma and maintaining suture integrity.
