Taper Point PDS II Absorbable Sutures are designed for applications where a combination of absorbable suture material and extended wound support is required. These sutures are particularly useful in situations where wound support for up to six weeks is desired. They are indicated for soft tissue approximation, including use in pediatric cardiovascular tissue where growth is expected, as well as in ophthalmic surgery.

It's important to note that Taper Point PDS II Absorbable Sutures are not indicated for use in adult cardiovascular tissue, microsurgery, or neural tissue. They are prepared from the polyester polydioxanone, which is known for its strength and absorbable properties.

Each box contains 36 sutures, divided into 3 packs or 3 dozen, providing ample supply for various medical procedures. The sutures are 1/2 circle in shape, 26 mm in length, and 3-0 in size. They are undyed and measure 1 inch x 27 inches SH, offering versatility and reliability in surgical settings.
