Description

Leg catheter strap is a soft resilient foam used to keep the catheter in place and in control via a hook and loop tab. This not only ensures a customizable fit but also avoids restricting leg movement. Also, it securely allows an indwelling foley catheter to stay on the user''s upper thigh. This prevents tourniquet action in addition to minimizing catheter movement. The strap is a comfortable cloth backed by a foam band that wraps around the patient''s leg. Since the catheter is kept in place through a velcro tab, there is no need for messy hard-to-remove tape.

It also helps to reduce the accidental dislocation of the catheter tube. Also, prevents detachment of the drainage bag. The leg catheter strap is composed of non-irritating materials especially towards sensitive skin enabling the user to completely apply and adjust the strap upon the leg. The sliding collar locks the handle into position and thus allows full 360° action. The leg catheter strap is great to provide support for sheath, urostomies and catheterized patients.
