ACells Wound Management Products are medical devices that maintain and support a healing environment through constructive remodeling. Comprised of naturally-occurring urinary bladder matrix (UBM), MicroMatrix maintains an epithelial basement membrane and is appropriate for acute wounds and chronic wounds.MicroMatrix is intended for the management of topical wounds including: partial and full-thickness wounds, pressure ulcers, venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers, chronic vascular ulcers, tunneled/undermined wounds, surgical wounds (donor sites/grafts, post-Mohs surgery, post-laser surgery, podiatric, wound dehiscence), trauma wounds (abrasions, lacerations, second-degree burns, skin tears), and draining wounds.
