Description
Bionix specializes in medical devices and produces original, high-quality medical products. Their lighted forceps are a unique extension of their Lighted Ear Curette with a magnification line. It is their award-winning body foreign body removal product. The lighted forceps can be used to identify and remove foreign, unwanted objects from the ear or nasal passage. It is extremely useful for older people who need extra care and young, impatient children. The lighted forceps is a one-time use product that prevents cross-contamination and must be disposed of safely after usage.
Ear wax or nasal FB (foreign body) removal can be tricky if you use a plain or blind curette. Probing blindly or using metal or steel curettes can cause more discomfort and unease. It may also result in minor cuts and bleeding. Moreover, using swabs at home or a normal curette can push the foreign object even deeper, making it all the more inaccessible. The Bionix illuminated forceps come with a spring grip for easy use, one light source, and one magnification lens. The gripper teeth of the forceps can remove both leafy and round objects from the nose or ear. It can hold and remove a 5 mm-sized round object without causing any discomfort. The light is designed to cover around 50 curettage procedures. It has been designed after the popular Lighted Ear Curette, which is a great alternative product.
The light is at the tip of the product, which makes even the most difficult nasal or ear canals accessible. The magnification lens helps to see clearly without having to probe deeper into the passage. It saves time and makes the process easy and accurate. It is a compact and convenient medical device as you do not need to use a separate light or magnifying source. It saves on time and labor as you do need to sterilize it each time. It is a single-use product with 10 forceps in a box. The box contains two bags; each bag has 5 forceps, one light source, and one magnification lens.
