Euflexxa 20 mg/2 mL Prefilled Syringe is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, and viscoelastic solution of highly purified sodium hyaluronate designed for intra-articular administration. It is used to relieve knee pain associated with osteoarthritis in patients who have not responded adequately to other conservative treatments, such as physical therapy or oral pain medications.

The primary mechanism of action of Euflexxa is to supplement the natural synovial fluid in the joint, which may have become degraded in individuals with osteoarthritis. This supplementation helps reduce friction, absorb shock, and alleviate pain caused by the wear and tear of the joint cartilage.

Euflexxa is provided in a 2 mL prefilled syringe containing 20 mg of sodium hyaluronate, ensuring precise dosing and ease of administration. The product should be stored in its original packaging at temperatures between 2°C and 25°C (36°F and 77°F) and protected from light to maintain stability and efficacy.
