Description

The x-ray tube image intensifier drape is a large polyethylene bag with four adhesive patches ensuring a reliable seal. The adhesive strips are secure and reliable enough to keep the drape in place. It covers the equipment and offers a sterile barrier between the equipment and the sterile field. The special design allows perfect fit to cover the equipment. This reduces draping time to a significant level. Also, the x-ray tube image intensifier drape protects the equipment from exposure to various contaminants and fluids.

Surgical procedures requiring coverage of C-arm when present in a sterile field make use of this drape. The drape therefore helps maintain the sterility of various equipment, environmental surfaces and the patient''s surroundings in the operating room and minimizes the risk of contamination. Note that if the drape falls to the floor, it will be considered contaminated and must not be used. Make sure once the drape is placed in position, it shall not be moved. Avoid shaking or flipping.
