Description

Cosentyx Sensoready 300 mg Pen is a biologic medication indicated for the treatment of moderate to severe plaque psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis. It is a fully human monoclonal antibody that selectively inhibits interleukin-17A (IL-17A), a pro-inflammatory cytokine involved in the pathogenesis of autoimmune disorders.

The active ingredient, secukinumab, binds specifically to IL-17A and prevents its interaction with cellular receptors, thereby inhibiting the inflammatory cascade that leads to skin and joint damage. Cosentyx Sensoready Pen is a prefilled autoinjector designed for subcutaneous administration. The initial dosing regimen consists of weekly injections for the first five weeks, followed by maintenance dosing every four weeks.
