It is not only for peads but could also be used for small adults with thin necks.

The extrication collar has a flip chin piece that is used for flat storage. It is also used to facilitate intubation and vomitus removal from the patient''s mouth. Note that the extrication collar is compatible with MRI and CT. The two safety buttons offer maximum reliability by holding the collar in place.
