Description

Coricidin is a cold symptom relief tablet. Each tablet contains Acetaminophen 325mg, Chlorphenamine maleate 2 mg and Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 10mg. It comes in a 20-tablet pack that relieves cough, stuffy head and aches associated with allergies, cold and flu.

Coricidin tablet relieves runny nose, fever, and cough with maximum strength against multi-symptom flu for patients with high blood pressure. Acetaminophen helps to reduce fever and pain, such as backache and muscle strains. Chlorphenamine maleate is an antihistamine used to treat allergies. Dextromethorphan HBr is a cough suppressant and effectively relieves cough associated with flu.

Since the medication contains antihistamines and may cause drowsiness, it can also be used as a nighttime sleep aid. Coricidin is not only caffeine-free but is also free of decongestants. Therefore, it is effectively used in patients with high blood pressure. Take the medication by mouth. In case of stomach upset, the tablet shall be taken with food or milk. Do not use Coricidin in patients younger than six years old.
