Description

Clonidine HCl 0.1 mg Tablet is a prescription medication primarily used to treat hypertension, also known as high blood pressure. It works by stimulating alpha-2 adrenergic receptors in the central nervous system, leading to decreased sympathetic outflow and a subsequent reduction in heart rate and blood vessel constriction.

In addition to its use in hypertension, Clonidine may also be indicated for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. By modulating neurotransmitter release, it can help improve attention span and reduce impulsivity and hyperactivity in affected individuals.
