Cimzia 200 mg/mL Prefilled Syringe Kit is a tumor necrosis factor (TNF) inhibitor used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases. It contains certolizumab pegol, a pegylated monoclonal antibody fragment that selectively binds to TNF-alpha, preventing its interaction with cell surface receptors. This inhibition reduces inflammation, immune response overactivity, and disease progression in chronic inflammatory conditions.

This medication is indicated for rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Crohn’s disease, and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis.
