Cefazolin 1G Advantage 25Bx is a sterile powder formulation of the first-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, cefazolin. This medication is primarily used to treat a variety of bacterial infections, including skin, bone, joint, respiratory, and urinary tract infections. As a broad-spectrum antibiotic, cefazolin is effective against a range of Gram-positive and some Gram-negative bacteria.

Cefazolin works by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls, leading to bacterial cell lysis and death.
