Description

The BIOSYN Monofilament Absorbable Suture is a premium-grade surgical suture designed for general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including ophthalmic surgery. Manufactured by Medtronic, this suture is prepared from Glomar 631, a synthetic polyester composed of glycoside (60%), diolamine (14%), and trimethylene carbonate (26%).

These sutures are designed to be undyed. The suture is available in size 5-0 with an 18-inch length. It features a premium reverse cutting needle design (P-12, 3/8 Circle), providing excellent tissue penetration and strength.

Each pack contains 12 individual sutures, conveniently packaged in a box. These monofilament absorbable sutures are suitable for use in various surgical applications but are contraindicated for cardiovascular or neurological surgeries.
