It does not contain any bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent, or added buffer, and is provided only in single-dose containers to prevent contamination.

Hydrochloric acid and/or sodium hydroxide may have been added for pH adjustment within the range of 4.5 to 7.0, ensuring compatibility with various medications.
