Sildenafil + Papaverine Troches 150 mg/25 mg is a compounded medication used in the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). This formulation combines sildenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, with papaverine, a smooth muscle relaxant. The combination promotes vasodilation and increased blood flow to penile tissue, enhancing erectile response.

The troche is administered by placing it in the mouth and allowing it to dissolve as directed by a healthcare provider. Sublingual or buccal absorption allows for a rapid onset of action. Food and drink should generally be avoided around the time of administration to ensure optimal absorption and effectiveness.

Adverse effects may include hypotension, dizziness, headache, and gastrointestinal discomfort. There is a risk of priapism, a prolonged erection lasting more than four hours, which requires immediate medical attention.
