Description

Rituxan (rituximab) 500 mg / 50 mL vial is a monoclonal antibody used in the treatment of certain autoimmune disorders and cancers. It targets the CD20 protein found on the surface of B-cells, a type of white blood cell. By binding to this protein, rituximab depletes B-cells, which play a role in the development of diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and chronic lymphocytic leukemia.

Rituxan is typically administered intravenously under medical supervision.
