BOTOX® Cosmetic, formulated with Botulinum Toxin Type A (onabotulinumtoxinA) in 100 Units Injection, is renowned for its effectiveness in reducing the appearance of facial wrinkles. This renowned cosmetic treatment, administered via injection, works by temporarily paralyzing specific facial muscles, thus diminishing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When reconstituting BOTOX® Cosmetic, it is imperative to utilize only 0.9% sterile, non-preserved saline to maintain its stability and potency.

Following reconstitution, BOTOX® Cosmetic must be stored in a refrigerator at temperatures between 2 to 8 degrees Celsius and utilized within 24 hours to ensure optimal efficacy and safety. For unopened vials, it is recommended to store them in a refrigerator within the same temperature range. The 100 Unit vial can be stored for up to 36 months, while the 50 Unit vial can be kept for up to 24 months, preserving the product's stability and potency over an extended period.

For precise administration it is advised to use a 30 to 33 gauge needle for injection, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discomfort for patients.
