JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ XC injectable gel is a specialized hyaluronic acid (HA) gel designed to enhance jawline definition. This smooth, clear, colorless gel contains a small quantity of local anesthetic, lidocaine, to ensure patient comfort during injections.

Formulated with a concentration of 25 mg/mL HA and 0.3% w/w lidocaine in a physiologic buffer, JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ XC utilizes VYCROSS® technology during manufacturing. This process involves the addition of a small amount of BDDE compound to crosslink the HA in the gel, resulting in a specialized and smooth injectable gel.

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring sugar found in the human skin that retains moisture, contributing to its hydration and elasticity. By utilizing VYCROSS® technology, JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ XC achieves optimal crosslinking of HA molecules, leading to enhanced durability and effectiveness in defining the jawline.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUX™ XC injectable gel is supplied in individual treatment syringes with 27-G needles for single-patient use and is ready for injection (implantation). This convenient packaging ensures precise and comfortable administration for both patients and healthcare professionals alike.
