MEDIHONEY® Wound Gel is a sterile dressing formulated with 80% active Leptospermum honey and 20% natural gelling agents. This unique composition provides a moist, protective environment conducive to effective wound healing. The gel’s high osmolarity promotes gentle cleansing and debridement, supporting tissue recovery while minimizing the risk of infection. Its formulation is suitable for both superficial and full-thickness wounds, maintaining stability at the wound site for optimal performance.

The dressing is indicated for a variety of non-draining to moderately exuding wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, partial-thickness burns, donor sites, and traumatic or surgical wounds. Its viscous texture ensures adherence to the wound surface, allowing continuous contact with the affected area and enhancing the healing process.

Designed for single use, MEDIHONEY® Wound Gel is packaged in 0.5 oz sterile tubes, with 10 tubes per box and 4 boxes per case, ensuring convenience for healthcare settings. The gel is not made with natural rubber latex, reducing the risk of latex-related reactions. It is suitable for application under professional supervision and integrates seamlessly into standard wound care protocols.
