Description

Taper Point PDS™ II Absorbable Suture, Size 1, is a monofilament synthetic suture made from polydioxanone, dyed violet for visibility during surgical use. This suture is characterized by its long-term tensile strength retention and gradual absorption profile, making it suitable for internal tissue approximation where extended support is required. The looped suture configuration, 96" in total with a 48" loop, allows efficient placement during procedures requiring double-armed techniques.

The TP-1 needle is a 65 mm, 1/2 circle taper point, designed for smooth penetration and reduced tissue trauma. This needle type is well-suited for soft tissue closure, particularly where delicate handling and minimal disruption are essential.
