Manufactured from Polyglactin 910, it exhibits a braided construction that enhances handling and ensures secure knotting during surgical use. 

This undyed version is ideal for procedures where minimal visibility of the suture line is preferred, such as in superficial closures or cosmetically sensitive areas. The coating reduces tissue drag, promoting a smoother passage through tissue. The CPX needle provides accurate placement while minimizing trauma during insertion, ensuring that tissue layers are approximated with minimal disruption.

The suture retains approximately 50% of its tensile strength at 3 weeks post-implantation. This degradation profile matches the healing rate of rapidly healing tissues such as mucosa, skin, and subcutaneous layers.
