Coated Vicryl Absorbable Suture, Ties, Undyed, Size 3/0, 54" (135 cm) is designed for reliable performance in soft tissue approximation and ligation. The suture exhibits excellent handling characteristics due to its coated, braided construction, which enhances knot security and facilitates ease of knot tying on the first throw. 

The suture material, polyglactin 910, is a synthetic absorbable polymer that provides predictable absorption and strength retention. It maintains approximately 50% of its tensile strength at three weeks post-implantation, allowing sufficient wound support during critical healing phases. Complete mass absorption occurs between 56 to 76 days, reducing the risk of long-term foreign body reaction and eliminating the need for suture removal.

Clinical applications include general soft tissue and muscle approximation, ligatures, reproductive tract surgeries, ophthalmic procedures, and as a secondary choice in orthopedic surgeries. The undyed color enhances visibility against tissue, improving precision during delicate procedures.
