Description
Coated Vicryl Absorbable Suture, Violet Braided, S-14 Needle, Size 5/0, 12", is a sterile synthetic suture composed of Polyglactin 910, a copolymer of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. The violet color enhances intraoperative visibility. Its braided construction and polyglactin coating provide smooth tissue passage, reduced drag, and minimal tissue reaction, making it suitable for precise wound closure.
This suture is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including ophthalmic procedures. It is not suitable for cardiovascular or neurological tissue.
