The Vicryl Coated Braided Undyed Suture, Size 2-0, 27" with FS-1 Needle is an absorbable suture designed for general soft tissue approximation and ligation. Made from polyglactin 910, this suture offers superior strength and reliability for a wide range of surgical applications. The braided structure of the suture allows for excellent handling and knot security, making it suitable for delicate and demanding procedures.

This suture is coated with a special formulation to enhance its smooth passage through tissue while minimizing tissue drag. The undyed nature of the suture ensures that it blends seamlessly with the surrounding tissue, making it ideal for use in procedures where visibility is not a critical factor. 

Vicryl sutures are known for their excellent tensile strength, maintaining 70% of their original strength for up to 2 weeks and completely absorbing within 56 to 70 days. This controlled absorption process eliminates the need for suture removal, making it ideal for internal use or for patients unable to return for suture removal appointments.
