VICRYL™ Suture, Size 1, Violet, Reel Tie, 133 cm, is a sterile, synthetic absorbable ligature composed of polyglactin 910, a copolymer of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. Designed for effective internal ligation, the suture delivers reliable performance with excellent tensile strength, minimal tissue reaction, and predictable absorption characteristics.

The suture is presented on a reel, allowing for efficient dispensing and multiple ligature uses during surgery. It is braided for improved flexibility and handling, offering smooth passage through tissue and secure knot placement. The coating, composed of polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate, reduces drag and enhances tie-down capabilities.
