Description
Maxon™ Suture, clear, size 4-0, 18", with C-13 needle, is a synthetic absorbable monofilament suture composed of polyglyconate—a copolymer of glycolic acid and trimethylene carbonate. This material provides prolonged tensile strength and predictable absorption, making it suitable for procedures requiring extended wound support with minimal tissue reaction.
The C-13 needle is a taper point design with a 3/8 circle curvature, suitable for delicate soft tissue closure. The 18-inch length provides sufficient reach for moderate-scale procedures. The clear color of the suture ensures minimal visibility in tissue, offering an aesthetic advantage in certain surgical applications.
