Coated Vicryl Plus Antibacterial Suture is an absorbable, synthetic suture composed of polyglactin 910 and coated with triclosan to inhibit bacterial colonization. The antibacterial coating provides a zone of inhibition against common surgical site pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, MRSA, and MRSE.

The suture is equipped with a UR-5 needle, a 1/2 circle taper point needle designed for smooth passage through delicate soft tissues with minimal trauma. The braided structure enhances handling characteristics, offering flexibility and knot security. The 27-inch suture length accommodates various surgical needs, particularly in general, gynecological, and plastic surgeries.

This suture is suitable for procedures requiring absorbable material while reducing the risk of infection. The antibacterial properties help minimize postoperative complications, making it beneficial for surgeries with a heightened risk of bacterial contamination.
