Description

Suture, 2/0 27 CTD VICRYL™ VIO BR UR-6 is a sterile, synthetic absorbable surgical suture composed of Polyglactin 910, a copolymer of glycolide and lactide. It is coated with a mixture of polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate to reduce tissue drag and improve intraoperative handling.

This suture is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including procedures in gynecology, urology, and general surgery. It is not recommended for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues. The 2/0 suture size provides moderate tensile strength, making it suitable for deeper closures where both strength and absorbability are essential.

The UR-6 needle is a reverse cutting needle with a 3/8 circle curvature, designed for penetrating tough or fibrous tissue with minimal trauma. Its design allows for precision placement and secure wound closure, particularly in skin, mucosa, or dense connective tissue. The suture is 27 inches in length, offering enough reach for multi-layer or extended incisions.
