The RAPICIDE OPA/28 HIGH LEVEL DISINFECTANT NON-STERILE 1 GALLON is a high-performance liquid formulated for fast and reliable disinfection of heat-sensitive, semi-critical medical devices. Its 0.575% ortho-Phthalaldehyde (OPA) concentration ensures rapid antimicrobial action, making it suitable for busy clinical environments where efficiency and instrument safety are critical.

This high-level disinfectant features one of the fastest disinfection times available, requiring only a 5-minute contact at 25°C or 10 minutes at room temperature (=20°C). It effectively inactivates a broad spectrum of pathogens, including tuberculosis, MRSA, VRE, HIV-2, and hepatitis viruses, ensuring comprehensive protection against infectious agents. Its proven materials compatibility reduces the risk of instrument damage, extending the usable life of delicate medical devices.

RAPICIDE OPA/28 is designed for use with RAPICIDE® OPA/28 OPA Concentration Indicator to monitor disinfectant potency. In automated Medivators® reprocessors, only two rinses are required after disinfection, while manual use requires three rinses. The solution is ready-to-use (RTU) and maintains a mild scent for ease of handling in clinical settings.
