Quill Barbed Suture, Monoderm, 3-0, 30 × 30 cm, Undyed, PS, Reverse Cutting, 3/8 Circle, 26 mm, Bi-Directional, Double Arm is a synthetic absorbable monofilament barbed suture designed for efficient soft tissue approximation and subcuticular wound closure. Constructed from Monoderm material, the suture provides excellent pliability, smooth handling characteristics, and secure tissue engagement without the need for conventional knots. 

The suture features a USP 3-0 size with dual 30 cm strands mounted on double arms, each equipped with a 26 mm precision reverse cutting PS needle and a 3/8 circle curvature. The reverse cutting needle is engineered for precise penetration through soft tissue while minimizing tissue trauma. The undyed monofilament construction offers smooth passage through tissue and reduces tissue drag during placement.

Monoderm material provides dependable tensile strength retention during the critical phases of wound healing. The suture retains approximately 42–76% of its tensile strength after seven days and 36–52% after fourteen days before being essentially absorbed within approximately 90 days. This predictable absorption profile provides temporary wound support while eliminating the need for suture removal.
