The PERIFIX® Continuous Epidural Tray is a sterile, single-use procedural kit designed to provide the essential components required for continuous epidural anesthesia. The tray includes a 17G × 3.5-inch Tuohy needle, a 19G PERIFIX® FX springwound closed-tip catheter, a 5 mL glass Luer lock loss-of-resistance (LOR) syringe, and additional tray components needed to support epidural catheter placement. The comprehensive configuration promotes procedural efficiency while maintaining a consistent sterile environment.

The 17G Tuohy needle is engineered to facilitate accurate access to the epidural space, while the 5 mL glass Luer lock LOR syringe assists clinicians in identifying the epidural space using the loss-of-resistance technique.
