PDS Plus Antibacterial Monofilament Absorbable Suture, 2-0, 27", CT-2 is a synthetic absorbable surgical suture designed for wound closure and soft tissue approximation. The suture is composed of polydioxanone with triclosan and features a monofilament construction. Its absorbable design provides prolonged mechanical support during the wound healing process before gradual degradation and absorption.

The suture is supplied in USP size 2-0 with a length of 27 inches. Its violet coloration provides visual identification during surgical placement, while the unidirectional configuration contains one strand per pack. The monofilament structure provides a smooth profile that supports controlled passage through tissue and precise placement during wound closure procedures.

The attached CT-2 needle measures 26 mm in length and features a silver finish with taper point geometry. The taper point design facilitates controlled penetration through soft tissue while supporting accurate needle placement.
