The Surecan™ Safety Huber Needle is designed for reliable access to implanted subcutaneous ports. It is intended for use in intravenous administration of chemotherapy, other injectable medications, and for blood withdrawal. The device ensures precise port entry while minimizing trauma to the septum and surrounding tissue. Its right-angle, non-coring needle maintains port integrity during repeated access procedures.

Constructed with stainless steel, the needle provides strength and consistent penetration. The 22-gauge, 19.1 mm needle length is suitable for a wide range of adult and pediatric applications. The low-profile hub enhances patient comfort and facilitates secure attachment to the extension set. A female luer connector allows seamless integration with standard IV administration sets and infusion lines.

The integrated safety mechanism includes a sliding clip that passively engages after needle withdrawal, reducing the risk of accidental needle sticks. DEHP-free, non-PVC tubing ensures chemical compatibility and patient safety, while the Y-site port allows simultaneous medication administration or flush. The priming volume of 0.7 mL supports accurate dosing and minimizes fluid waste.
