Monocryl Suture, Size 5-0, 18", D-Special, Single Arm, P-2 Needle, is a synthetic, absorbable monofilament suture designed for precise soft tissue approximation and ligation. Constructed from poliglecaprone 25, it provides excellent tensile strength and smooth passage through tissue. 

This suture offers consistent and reliable performance, retaining significant tensile strength during the critical early phases of wound healing. It typically maintains approximately 50% of its tensile strength at one week post-implantation and is fully absorbed by hydrolysis within 90 to 120 days. 

The P-2 needle, characterized by its single-arm design and curved shape, is a precision reverse cutting needle. This needle configuration allows for controlled penetration with minimal tissue trauma, enhancing surgeon control and accuracy during suturing.
