SWABSTICKS, TRIPLE, 5.25 mL CHLORAPREP are pre-saturated with a 2% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) and 70% isopropyl alcohol (IPA) solution, providing effective antiseptic skin preparation. Each swab stick is designed to cover an area of approximately 2.5" x 2.5", ensuring sufficient surface coverage for surgical and procedural applications. The combination of CHG and IPA delivers rapid and persistent antimicrobial activity, reducing the risk of surgical site infections.

These swab sticks are intended for use in aseptic skin preparation prior to invasive procedures or surgery. They provide a standardized, controlled method for disinfecting the skin, supporting compliance with clinical protocols. The swabs are individually packaged to maintain sterility until use, reducing the risk of contamination.

Application requires allowing the treated skin to dry completely. For dry sites, a 30-second drying period is recommended, while moist or sensitive sites require approximately 2 minutes to achieve optimal antiseptic efficacy.
