Description

Lidocaine 1% Amp 2 mL PF is a local anesthetic used for the temporary relief of pain associated with surgical and diagnostic procedures. This product contains 1% lidocaine hydrochloride, the active ingredient, and is available in a preservative-free ampoule format for single-use administration. As a generic equivalent to Xylocaine®, it is widely used for infiltration and nerve block anesthesia, including caudal and epidural applications.

Lidocaine functions by blocking sodium channels in nerve cells, inhibiting the initiation and conduction of nerve impulses.
