Description

Kyprolis 30 mg Vial is a proteasome inhibitor indicated for the treatment of patients with relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. It contains the active ingredient carfilzomib, a tetrapeptide epoxyketone that selectively and irreversibly binds to the 20S proteasome, a key component in the protein degradation pathway within cells. 

The product is presented as a lyophilized powder intended for intravenous administration after reconstitution and dilution. Each single-use vial contains 30 mg of carfilzomib, which must be prepared and administered by a qualified healthcare professional under strict aseptic conditions. The dosing regimen depends on body surface area and patient-specific treatment cycles, usually administered over consecutive days followed by rest periods.

Common side effects include fatigue, anemia, thrombocytopenia, nausea, and dyspnea. Serious adverse reactions may include cardiac toxicity, pulmonary complications, tumor lysis syndrome, and hepatic toxicity. Close monitoring of renal, cardiac, and hematologic parameters is necessary during treatment.
