The IV Extension Tubing, 60 Inch, Microbore, Luer Lock is a sterile intravenous extension set designed to extend the distance between vascular access devices and infusion equipment while maintaining secure fluid delivery. The microbore tubing is intended to minimize internal fluid volume, making it suitable for applications requiring precise administration of medications and intravenous solutions. With a tubing length of 60 inches, the extension set provides flexibility in patient positioning and equipment placement across a variety of clinical environments. 

The extension set features a small-bore lumen with a priming volume of approximately 1.04 mL, reducing medication waste and supporting accurate delivery of fluids. A pinch clamp is incorporated into the tubing to provide convenient flow control during infusion setup, medication administration, and line management. The design does not include an injection port, creating a continuous fluid pathway that helps simplify infusion procedures and reduce additional connection points.

Manufactured with DEHP-free tubing, the extension set reduces patient exposure to di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate and is appropriate for healthcare settings that prefer DEHP-free components. The tubing is also not made with natural rubber latex, minimizing the risk of latex-related allergic reactions. Supplied sterile for single-patient use, the extension set supports aseptic technique and infection prevention by eliminating the need for cleaning or reprocessing after use.
