Constructed from BD Vialon™, a proprietary biomaterial, the catheter offers superior biocompatibility, flexibility, and durability, reducing the risk of phlebitis and other insertion-related complications. The catheter incorporates an Autoguard™ needle shielding device that instantly retracts the needle with the push of a button, significantly reducing the risk of accidental needlestick injuries. The Instaflash™ needle provides immediate confirmation of vessel entry, improving insertion accuracy and reducing IV restarts. The push-button safety mechanism ensures hands remain behind the needle at all times, supporting safe and efficient vascular access procedures.

With a flow rate of 65 mL/min and a 300 psi pressure rating, the catheter supports various infusion therapies, including rapid fluid administration. Its radiopaque design allows X-ray visibility for verification and monitoring.
