PROLENE™ Monofilament Suture, Blue, Size 1-0, 30", CTX-B Needle is a nonabsorbable, sterile surgical suture composed of an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene. This monofilament structure provides smooth passage through tissue with minimal resistance, while offering excellent tensile strength and long-term durability.

The suture is indicated for general soft tissue approximation and ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological surgeries. Its nonabsorbable nature ensures consistent mechanical support in critical tissue areas. Due to its inert composition, PROLENE™ elicits minimal inflammatory response, making it favorable for use in sensitive tissues and high-precision closures.

The monofilament does not adhere to tissue, which allows for easy removal and reduces the risk of tissue trauma during suture extraction.
