Description

The Chemstrip 7 urine test strips are designed for qualitative urine testing using seven parameters. The strips contain reagent pads supported by underlying absorbent pads and secured with a mesh laminate overlay. This construction supports sample absorption and reagent interaction while maintaining the integrity of the testing surface. 

The absorbent pad facilitates rapid diffusion of the urine sample across the reagent area. This design supports consistent sample distribution and helps limit chemical runover onto adjacent test strips. By reducing interference between neighboring reagent areas, the strip construction helps maintain distinct reactions for visual interpretation. The reagent pads produce color changes that can be compared with the applicable reference chart to assist with qualitative assessment of urine characteristics.

The mesh laminate overlay holds the reagent pad structure in place without relying on adhesive. The absorbent design also supports clear separation of the reagent areas, helping produce distinct, easy-to-read color changes during testing. The strip format is intended to support practical specimen handling, with the design helping keep fingers clear of direct contact with the urine sample during testing.
