The Aegis CHG-Impregnated Foam Disc Dressing is designed to provide antimicrobial protection at catheter and drain insertion sites. Impregnated with chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG), the dressing delivers a broad-spectrum antiseptic effect that helps reduce the risk of central-line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI). Its unique composition supports infection control practices aligned with evidence-based clinical standards.

Featuring a 1-inch diameter disc with a central 4 mm hole, the dressing fits securely around vascular and non-vascular percutaneous medical devices. The radial slit design allows easy placement without disturbing the catheter or surrounding tissue. Once in position, the foam absorbs exudate and maintains a clean, protected environment at the insertion site.

The absorbent properties of the foam material help manage peri-wound moisture while providing cushioning around the device entry point.
