Before using this product, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: diarrhea lasting more than 2 days (especially if you also have a high fever), weakened immune system (such as due to chemotherapy, HIV infection), other stomach problems, recurring vaginal infections, recurring urinary tract infections. Before having surgery, tell your doctor or dentist about all the products you use (including prescription drugs, nonprescription drugs, and herbal products). Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding before using this product. |
| Side Effects | SIDE EFFECTS: An increase in stomach gas may occur, but usually goes away with continued treatment. If this effect lasts or gets worse, notify your doctor or pharmacist promptly. If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. This product can help restore the normal balance of intestinal bacteria. This product has been used for diarrhea and other stomach/intestinal problems.
