Medisorb® Soda Lime Absorber is a high-performance anesthetic carbon dioxide absorber designed for use with GE Advanced Breathing Systems (ABS) and GE Healthcare Anesthesia Delivery Units (ADU) Carestations. The formulation contains calcium hydroxide and sodium hydroxide, which react efficiently with exhaled carbon dioxide to maintain patient safety and optimal anesthesia circuit function. The product is designed to provide consistent CO2 absorption during surgical procedures.

The absorber features a multi-indicator color system that changes from white to violet, providing a clear visual cue for replacement. This facilitates proactive management of the anesthetic circuit and reduces the risk of CO2 rebreathing. The product is contained in a durable canister that is easy to install and dispose of after single use.

The 0.8 kg disposable unit ensures high absorption capacity while minimizing cross-contamination risk, as each canister is intended for single-patient or single-session use.
